solar inverter
The heart between the solar modules and the power grid
The inverter
and its functions
The task of an inverter is to convert the direct current from the solar cells into grid-compatible alternating current.
However, the solar inverter is not only responsible for controlling the flow of electricity in many photovoltaic systems – it also performs many other tasks:

Monitoring and controlling the entire photovoltaic system
Collection of all operating data
Achieving maximum yields
Fully automatic disconnection from the network (if necessary)
Interruption of the grid feed
Protection against network overload
Switching from mains to emergency power in a few milliseconds in the event of a power failure
Be on the safe side with Blue Ray
With the wide range of inverters available, we select the most suitable ones for your roof and solar panels.

The efficiency
a solar inverter
Efficiency is one of the most important things when installing a photovoltaic system. Accordingly, the so-called efficiency of the solar inverter is of central importance: it determines how much energy can be produced in the entire system and thus determines the yield and the associated profitability. The level of efficiency depends on several factors, such as the amount of solar radiation that the system can receive, its location and the system configuration. Each individual device can therefore have a different degree of efficiency depending on its location, since the inverter does not always provide its full performance. In order to still be able to compare devices with each other, the “European efficiency” was introduced, which represents an average of the efficiencies at different partial outputs (5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% and 100% of the maximum output). This value is weighted taking into account average European temperature and weather variations.
Where is the inverter connected?
Placement of the solar inverter
There are many factors to consider when installing an inverter. In general, it should be placed in a safe place and not directly exposed to wind and weather. It is therefore advisable to install it inside the house, such as in the basement or in garages. Again, there are a few things to consider here: One of the things that will determine the installation of a solar inverter is the ambient temperature. When the direct current is converted to alternating current, energy is lost along the way in the form of heat. If the temperature of a room is too high, heat may not be properly dissipated through the air. The high temperatures affect the service life of the inverter and its electrical components.
If the distance to your ceiling or other inverters is small, the heat dissipation can also be limited. Fixed minimum distances ensure that the devices continue to function properly. Another factor to consider is the noise level generated during the transformation. Modern solar inverters usually have a low noise rating, but hum or clicking noises cannot be ruled out at high power. For this reason, it would be advisable not to install the device in the immediate vicinity of living spaces. Last but not least, the distance to the feed meter also plays an important role. We have to be honest: inverters can pose a real threat. By hiring a specialist, you can enjoy the benefits of technology and avoid risks and disruptions. We’re here to help.
